Indonesian Travel "The beauty of the Gulf Beach Turtle (Penyu) Charm"

Turtle Bay is a coastal region south of Cilacap district, mainly along the coast of South Cilacap District location is not directly related to the Indian Ocean or Indonesia because it is surrounded by Nusakambangan Island. Turtle Bay Beach is 2 km to the east of Cilacap District Government Center and can be reached by public transport and private.

Bay has beautiful scenery and refreshing with an area of about 14 ha. Turtle Bay area commonly visited by the visitors (mainly local residents and tourists) usually start from the fishing port until the Ocean from the shoreline which is called Area 70 (the title refers to the surrounding communities of the region-tank fuel storage tank from PT Pertamina UP IV .) From Area 70 we can see directly Nusakambangan Island from the beach. But Area 70 is only open until 6 pm and 6 pm over access road to Area 70 was closed by officers.

In the area 70 near the oil refinery visitors can also see the tourist attractions the Citadel's history Pendem. The fort was once the headquarters of defense Pendem Dutch troops in Cilacap, Central Java, designed by Dutch architect. In the Bull Pendem we can see the Dutch heritage buildings such as barracks, fortress, castle scouts, meeting rooms, medical clinics, warehouses of weapons, ammunition storehouse, prison space, kitchen, space officers, and the bullet chamber.

Turtle Bay Beach tourist area is crowded in the morning and evening by the residents of the City of Cilacap. They like to visit in the morning and evening because at that time they can see the views of sunrise and sunset are very beautiful from the beach. In the afternoon more often visited by local tourists, especially in times of school holidays or on major holidays / vacation. Every 1st of Muharram or the 1st of Suro we can watch the event on the Gulf Coast Alms Sea Turtle. Alms sea is a tradition that continues to be maintained Cilacap community. Each year the ceremony was held, as a form of thanksgiving to Almighty God for protection and sustenance for fishermen Cilacap. This tradition is also as a form of homage to the Queen of the South Coast, Nyi Roro Kidul.

On this beach we can play the surf and sand or just sitting on the embankment or breakwater in the building while enjoying the waves and fresh sea breeze. However, if you want to swim should be careful because the waves were quite big. Satisfied play sand and water, we could rinse the body with clean water in the bathroom that has been provided by the beach. So, until the house is clean and no itching.

In addition to sand and water play, we can also surround the island of Nusakambangan rented a small boat fishermen. Even during Eid day the fishermen will get us pulled over on a white sand beach on the edge of the island of Nusakambangan.

Visitors need not fear starvation in there because there are many stalls along the beach or street vendors who provide culinary variety at affordable prices. There were meatballs, chicken noodle, fried rice, rames, chicken opor, chicken porridge, and many more. From the entrance of Turtle Bay Beach tourist area is also a lot of standing kios-kios/warung who peddle dried salted fish and fish fresh / wet ready to be burned or cooked directly in accordance with our wishes. In addition, we also can buy various handicrafts shells and other souvenirs to souvenirs along the entrance corridor of this tourist location.

To enjoy the panorama of the Gulf Coast sea turtles we just pay the entrance fee of two thousand five hundred dollars per person. But, if we come to the beach before seven in the morning we do not have to pay admission or free for ticket sellers new officers come after seven o'clock
