Owners of the apartments on board are owners of the m.v The World. Apartments are not sold to the public (as are on other cruise ships), but are used exclusively by their owners, family members or personal friends.
The ship was in Indonesian waters from 6th to 18th February, 2010 and Ms. Malaihollo was asked to accompany them on board ship from Broome, Australia, so that she could give them an overview of what to expect, what to see, and give a presentation onboard while cruising from Australia to KOMODO Island.
Besides calling on Komodo, home of the world's last dragon, m.v The World also visited the magical island of Bali and then to Semarang to see the mighty Borobudur. In Semarang all the VIP passengers were honoured with a Special Dinner given by the Governor of Central Java, which the owners most appreciated as one of the highlights of their cruise.
